(The PLC Commiteemet and discussed the following possible dates for PLC sessions around Assessment AS Learning, DI/DE, Layered Curriculum, Blooms Taxonomy...)
October 26th, November 9th, November 23rd, November 30th, December 14th
Kathy Nunleypresentation on November 18 PD fits nicely during this time
Some Ideas:
Session1: Revisit what was covered last year, hand out assessment checklist (or to save paper have them available in Teacher Share Folders) Have teachers try Assessment AS Learning and share ideas in Session 2
some activities/checklists provided
Session 2: Showcase examples of assessment in different departments.
Another Session: DI/DE lesson ideas shown by department representatives. Perhaps have members that teach a common course develop a DI lesson that both share with their students

Session: Blooms Taxonomy
2. School Wide Policy on Late Assignments, Ultimate Deadlines and Zeros (Aaron Magney will speak on this)
